Manuscript Evaluation
Evaluates your story’s strengths and weaknesses to bring your story to the next level. It’s very similar to a developmental edit.
You will receive a 10+ page editorial letter that goes over many areas, including opening, POV, plot, dialogue, ending, and more. It has a chapter-by-chapter section where I give specific chapter feedback.
This is a great option if you’re working with a budget.

Copyediting
Evolves your story from the ground up. Afterward, it will improve in many areas, including but not limited to:
- Conscious language
- Dialogue tags
- Grammar
- Inconsistencies
- POV
- Punctuation
- Repetition
- Telling vs. showing
- Tenses
You will receive a copyedited manuscript and a multipage editorial letter that explains my edits and suggestions.
This critical stage helps your story grow.

Proofreading
Hatches your story into a beautiful piece of art. This final stage mends any last-minute grammar mistakes and glaring errors.
You will receive a proofread manuscript and a multipage editorial letter that explains my edits.
Please note that this is the last editing stage. Your work should be thoroughly edited beforehand.
Because every manuscript’s editing needs are different, I customize each project fee after a free sample edit with no strings attached. For 2023, project fees are based on a $35 hourly rate, which is based on the industry’s standards. I am also open to payment plans.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Robin again. Her exceptional professional, sharp eye, and insightful edits on my first manuscript is the reason I asked if she would be willing to complete the final proofread.
