About Me

A black and white photo of me (a white woman with short hair, hazel eyes, and a few freckles), in front of my bookshelves.

Hello!

I’m Robin (she/her). I’m a writer and editor. I fell in love with stories as a child. In my papa’s backyard, I would tell tales with an inflatable spaceship tied to a tree.

I started editing in 2016 as a nonfiction assistant editor for the North Texas Review. In 2019, I became a copyeditor and proofreader for Unsolicited Press. I have a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing and three editing certificates, including a copyediting certificate from UC San Diego Extension.

I’m also a member of ACES: The Society for Editing, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP), Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA), and LGBTQ+ Editors Association. I attend webinars and conferences often to stay current and informed. You can learn more about my credentials on my LinkedIn page and my Reedsy page.

I look forward to reading your story!

A small, light brown puppy with white paws. She's asleep on a bed surrounded by blankets.
A large, brown dog asleep on the floor. Her back feet are on a dog bed, but most of her body is stretched out on the carpet.

Office Assistants

I work with three office assistants: Lucky (top left), Willow (bottom left), and Jack (right). Lucky is a beagle Pomeranian mix, and Willow is a chocolate lab. Jack is a terrier, but we don’t know what kind since we adopted him at a later age.

They also sleep as much as the pictures suggest.

Let’s turn your book into a beautiful wonder.
